We have published some photos, taken at the 2011 Aqua Maris World Championship Jala Neti, for those members and friends of IFJN who didn’t have a chance to personally witness this great event in Amsterdam.

And we have received a video from the Russian digital TV station CTV4, the official media partner of IFJN. This video contains images from their live-stream translation of the Men’s Finals and gives you a good impression of the unique atmosphere at the 2011 world championship. The video is in Russian with English subtitles.

The International Federation of Jala Neti would like to announce the official results of the 2011 Aqua Maris World Championship Jala Neti, held on 28 August 2011 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. IFJN is very proud that the 2011 edition was the largest Aqua Maris World Championship Jala Neti ever, with participants from 21 country. On the closing ceremony, Dr. Meyer, President of IFJN, announced that Jala Neti had been added as a demonstration sport to the 3rd Asian Beach Games in Haiyang, China in June 2012!

And these are the official results of the 2011 Aqua Maris World Championship Jala Neti. IFJN would like to congratulate the winners, especially Mr. Konyukhov, Russia (Федор Конюхов) who won his 3rd consecutive World Champion title, Mr. Patanjali, India (पतंजलि) who dominated the 10 litre class, and Mr. Clark (USA) who won Silver and Bronze in both classes.

The International Jala Neti Federation (IFJN) is delighted to confirm the details of the largest Aqua Maris World Championship Jala Neti ever staged. The venue will be the Emergo Sports Hall in Amstelveen, a suburb of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The official hotel of the world championship is the Grand Hotel Amstelveen. The competition will take place on 28 August 2011 (Sunday). The exact competition programme will be published in August.

The venue is easy to reach both by public transport and by car. There is a direct bus (bus 300, direction Amsterdam Arena) from the Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. Please, ask a bus driver to stop at Langerhuize and follow the signs placed by IFJN. If you travel by car, drive to A9, take exit 4-Ouderkerk a/d Amstel toward Amstelveen-Oost and follow the signs Emergo Sports Hall.

We would like to announce that the 2011 Aqua Maris World Championship Jala Neti will take place in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on August 28, 2011. It is already the fourth world championship organized by the International Federation of Jala Neti. The 2011 edition is sponsored by our partner Aqua Maris. More information about the exact location and participants will follow shortly. The Aqua Maris World Championship will be followed by the Adriatic Jala Neti Cup on 24 September 2011 in Rijeka, Croatia, and the Open American Jala Neti Championship in November 2011 in Orlando, USA.
